NEW Test bench for tensioner pad testing.
Building on our massive track record in design and construction of offshore lay tensioner for cables, ropes, rigid pipes and flexible products, including over one hundred 2-track and 4-track tensioners in the pulling range 5MT to 250MT, we have recently upgraded our tensioner pad testing capabilities by replacing the existing dedicated test bench with a new one:
· 2 different bench configurations to suit rigid pipes, flexible products and mooring ropes.
· 2-track and 4-track tensioners set-up.
· Capability to fit REMACUT tensioner pads and non-REMACUT tensioner pads by means of suitable adaptors.
· Qualification testing of pads on product samples of up to 12m in length and up to 1000mm outer dia.
· Accurate data logging capability.
The new test bench completed satisfactorily two extensive tensioner pad testing activities for West African and Caspian offshore deepwater projects.
Width of bench conceived for positioning of bench and product sample inside standard reefer container, for simulation of harsh environmental conditions
